Caniglia’s paintings and etchings have been selected for two upcoming exhibitions at Salmagundi Gallery in NYC. The “Figuratively Speaking” show opens on Thursday, February 28th, with the reception from 6-9pm in the main gallery. The second exhibition titled “Monotype & Printmaking” will open on February 28th with a reception on March 7, from 6-9pm.
Jeremy Caniglia’s oil paintings “Fallen” and “Awaken” will be on display as well as his monoprint/etching of “Waiting Beauty”. It has a rich tradition in figure and landscape drawing and painting.
Salmagundi has showcased some of America’s greatest figurative masters such as William Merritt Chase, George Inness, Howard Pyle, Norman Rockwell, and N.C. Wyeth.
